KUTAVAR, ESCCO & FUMIN

KUTAVAR designs and manufactures British-built CNC plasma cutting machines. ESCCO is the UK’s leading supplier of welding equipment and consumables, selling thousands of products online. FUMIN is the group behind both.

Between them that is a high-end product showcase, a full eCommerce operation and a group site – different audiences, but one reputation. They needed the sites to look like they belong together and to be run by a team that understands all three.

The group did not want to juggle a designer, a developer, a host and someone else for security. They wanted a single partner who could take responsibility for the whole stack – and for the integration that keeps the ESCCO shop in step with the warehouse ordering system, where stock, pricing and fulfilment have to stay in sync automatically.

We designed all three websites in-house: a bold, industrial identity for KUTAVAR and a clean, conversion-focused layout for ESCCO. Each runs on a bespoke WordPress theme; ESCCO adds WooCommerce, product configurators and machine comparison tools.

ESCCO sits on a dedicated server we manage, and its shop is integrated directly with the warehouse ordering system. Since launch the group has been on our Flame plan, which covers updates, security, backups, performance and the changes they need month to month.

All three sites have run without a security incident since we took them on. Performance work lifted Core Web Vitals across the group, and the ESCCO shop keeps stock, prices and orders aligned with the warehouse without anyone re-keying data.

Most importantly, the group has one point of contact for everything digital – so the team can focus on machines and welding supplies, not websites.
